Home Instead is currently seeking an experienced caregiver for one of our male quadriplegic clients. Candidate must be high energy, like the outdoors, and ok with dogs and cats.
This caregiver must be 21 years of age or older, must obtain a valid Driver's License, be able and feel comfortable driving a wheelchair accessible van, able to lift 25 lbs. or more, and have experience and know how to operate a Hoyer Lift.
The client remains active but requires around the clock care. All aspect for daily living will need to be preformed and assisted with such as; brushing teeth, dressing, transfers in/out of wheelchair, feeding, repositioning, medication reminders in morning/evening, meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, laundry, light housekeeping, and assist with errands and transportation.
